TripleLift, the world’s largest native advertising platform became the first native advertising platform to receive the IAB UK Gold Standard accreditation.
Launched last October, the Gold Standard has three simple but fundamental aims – to reduce ad fraud, to improve the digital advertising experience, and to increase brand safety.
To become certified, TripleLift had to support the ads.txt initiative, adhere to the LEAN standards set by the Coalition for Better Advertising, and obtain the JICWEBs DTSG certification for brand safety.
On receiving the accreditation, General Manager, International John Stoneman said: “As the world’s largest native advertising platform we have a duty to ensure that our publisher partners and brand advertisers can operate in a trusted environment. We were delighted to lend our support to such a proactive initiative which can only make our industry more transparent and trustworthy.”
About The IAB Gold Standard:
The IAB Gold Standard is open to all IAB members involved in buying and selling digital advertising, though initially this project is being spearheaded by the IAB UK Board as part of their commitment to raising standards in digital advertising and building a sustainable future as stated in the Gold Standard Letter in October 2017.
